Having been born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains, I have always felt connected and at peace in the mountains. I've always been obsessed with rocks, so picking them up has always been a habit. I never knew that they could ground me and bring me peace until many years ago when I was in therapy and my therapist gave me a rock. Now as a therapist, I give all my clients grounding stones because I know they work.
